Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself and Say "Hi". I'm not totally computer illiterate but I'm not savvy either. I'm a pretty quick study and am not afraid to dig in.

{However, I am on a quest here and hope to find some answers...my sons girlfriend is getting creepy emails. I've got an email address I can't find "active" anywhere and an IP that traces back to AOL.}

Looking for guidance...

Who is the 'owner' of the email address? Meaning does it come from aol, gmail, yahoo, etc.

You may need to contact the respective abuse department and let them take it from there.

As long as the person uses aol as a mask for an IP, it'll be very difficult to find them.

I've done Traceroutes, Pings, run DNS it all comes back:

The email is @aol.com

I tried finding a link for a AOL complaint/abuse dept but couldn't find one. I have dial-up, therefore it is hard for me to use "on line" tech support.
