Change IP on MAC

Hi, i want to change my IP, but i have a Mac so, have i a problem ? or is more easy! please help or y need that anypeople can see my IP. How i can do it?.

Indeed the Mac is a UNIX box. So the various commands listed on here work: http://whatismyip.com/faq/unix-ip-commands.asp (from the Terminal).

I've never wanted to change my IP address - it's dynamically assigned by my ISP and I'm happy with what they deliver.

There has been a lot of discussion of this whole subject elsewhere in the forum. Have a read and a think. If you want specific help with something on the Mac, come back and ask and I'll try to help.

By the way, I really like my 24" iMac. It's the best Windows machine I've ever had (running bootcamp). MacOSX (and its UNIX) is fine. The machine also runs Ubuntu (thanks to VMWare Fusion).

I'm not a compulsive Mac lover - I like Windows, MacOSX and Linux equally.
