Default netsh interface set interface name= "Local Area Connection" ENABLED|DISABLED

I am unable to get this to work on XP/Pro (SP2). Here's what happens:
Code:
c:\>netsh interface set interface name= "Local Area Connection" ENABLED
The parameter is incorrect
c:\>
Does anybody know how to get this to work?

Maybe you aren't typing in the associated command correctly, try netsh /? in Command Prompt, and just read some of that stuff and see if it tells you anything, and look up that thing you typed in on one of those sites where there are like pros on MS-DOS, or just ask someone else on this website who knows more than me, there is a WIDE range of people.

I am happy to get you correct answer (if you haven't found any so far)

netsh interface set interface name="Local Area Connection" admin=enabled
and
netsh interface set interface name="Local Area Connection" admin=disabled

you were missing the "admin" parameter
