hey well this is like my only chance because my isp is really stupid -.- anyways my question / problem is on Firefox / IE / msn i cant go to any site at all or log on msn yep i have a connection because i can ping and log onto games.. the only sites i am allowed on are this one and Google.... no much help for me . a buddy of mine said it might be that my computer cant resolve the DNS servers that im obtaining auto-m from my ISP, so he said try some free dns servers but i cant get to any because out my current condition. i was hoping some one could A: spin me list of free dns server or B: be like i no whats wrong do this, this, this, BAM! all done lol thx for any help given.

not sure that its a DNS problem, then

do you have more than one computer at home you can try? if so, are the others doing hte same thing?

have you done any virus scans?

what is your home network like, do you use a router?

have you tried calling your ISP?

na only got one comp, no router, im running zone alarm, did a scan today and my ips pritty much told me to f off theres nothing they can do >.>

thats a tough one

not sure what it is you can do

you say your computer is directly connected to your modem so i think its going to be a problem on your computer

sorry I can't be of more help than that, maybe someone else will chime in with an idea`

Default googles ip adress

this is google.com ip 66.102.9.99 this will alow you to not use the dns to look for google try this also 66.102.9.104 66.102.9.147

are you able to click links http://www.linux.org or http://198.182.196.56/ disable your fierwall and try to connect to see if it a seting

well thx for the help andyroo but we have all ready tryed all this -.- and

@AboveTheLogic thix for the tip and i found a burnner.. ill tell you how it works out after i get the CD
