What happens if you shut the phone down....take out the battery....then put the battery back in and crank it back up?

If you still don't have a new IP, what are the first 2 sets of numbers in the IP address?

If it's 10.x.x.x then that's an IP tied to their network and not a public IP.

I left the phone switched off from 1am to 9am and when I turned it back on the ip was the same, it is only last numbers that change between 42 -43. The first two numbers are 10, ip actually is: 100.xx.xxx.42/43 I have not been banned anywhere just wanted to change it more than 1 digit so I can be more anonymous .... due to personal probs..... Thanks

Another thing you could try and find someone else with a phone similar to yours with the same carrier and see what IP they have. Then find someone with the same carrier and totally different phone and see what IP they have.

If IPs are all similar, then it has nothing to do with the phone.

Perhaps getting a new phone would get you a new IP.....even so, the IP probably wouldn't change that much which leaves you in the same situation you're in now....but with a new phone.

Cool update

bought new phone and put my original sim card in it and the ip is still the same as before so it appears that the ip is linked to the phone number .....
