Hi Levis,
www.no-ip.com would probably be your best bet. This allows you to keep a static presence on the net. Similar to a static IP. Brian |

that site wont make your IP static but it will give you a subdomain that you can use instead that will point to your current IP
also they have a dynamic updater you can run on your PC that will update their domain name servers when your IP does change, so the subdomain they give you will (almost) always point to your current IP |

actually i use www.DnsExit.com. Its free, and you can use Domains. You install a little plugin, setup ur dns (u have full control of it), u can even register a dot com for $13(currently) right from the site. Its the best i have seen out there for dynamic.
I kno the thread is a little old, but thats probably the best advice for any new website owners wanting to host from there house like me lol. |

You can to change your real IP address and get a static with VPN service.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=VPN&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq= Sure it's not a free, but it's a really good solution for games ..etc |

WIMI forum user fotonique is with microvpn. Maybe you can take advantage of their free trial and see if that works for you.
Here's our post about it.... http://forum.whatismyip.com/f35/surf-anonomously-with-microvpn-t92/ Brian |

Contact your internet service provider, and request for a static ip from them.
