My ip goes to my router/why??help

I wanna host a gameserver page so i need to do it by my ip and u kno apache mysql and so...

everything is fine exept when i try to go to my server page with my ip adress it goes to router page. but i am able to go and edit my page by localhost i mean 127.0.0.1
Please help me.

From your own LAN, you're only going to be able to access the page by going to 1270.0.1. However, if you can take a laptop to an alternate network (like a local cafe) then you would put in your external IP address to access your site then.

What wimiadmin means is from your computer you'll access it with 127.0.0.1.

From another machine on your LAN you'll need the actual IP of your machine.

From a machine outside your LAN you'll need your Internet IP and the appropriate forwarded ports.

Yes i kno that am not that stupid but i mean nobody can connect to my server by my ip adress but they should...Today i found up that my router shows ports are open but they are not open, and i called to my netikka they said that it should work...but i am so messing up now .. : (

what game is it your trying to work with ? you'll need to know the port numbers of that game.
