Its both a Webserver(http) and a Gameserver.

Then forwarding port 80 and whatever port(s) the game requires should be good. We run web servers behind firewalls to give us an additional layer of protection. We simply forward port 80 to the static IP of the server and we're up and running.

I already forwarded port 80 and the gameserver port's, the webserver and gameserver are working great.
I can connect to the webserver via 10.0.0.2 in the Browser and its great, but the problem is in the GameServer because it redirects me everytime i go one stage ahead for example: Login,Character selection and finaly the WorldServer , the ip's are configured to the wanip and it redirects from each service to another by the WANIP, now i need a way to make the 10.0.0.4 PC To think that the WANIP is actually 10.0.0.2 and then when every time the gameserver redirects to the WANIP it will auto-redirect to the 10.0.0.2....... I tryed windows HOST file , didnt work in this case.. |

hosts file will only work if the machine is looking for the WAN IP by hostname, not by IP
sounds like either some advanced routing will need to be done, or the game server software settings need to be adjusted if at all possible |
