Introducing myself

Hello. I was at one time a Cisco Certified Network Instructor levels 1 and 2. I was system admin for a small WAN (network spanning cities) and owned an ISP. I changed careers because I am getting older and I just got tired of keeping up with technology. I know a lot about some things (mostly old things) and I am surprisingly uninformed about many new things. I am becoming living history.

I was just relaxing after work checking the IP address on a VPN tunnel. I still have geeky relaxation habits. Anyway a posting here caught my eye and I just had to answer it. Then I came back the next night to see how things worked out. Will I be back again? Probably. It is nice to help only where I want to.
