this is in the PS3? I have to believe that there is a way to set the PS3 to obtain that info automatically.

I have a PS3 and my settings are all set to automatic and my box has no problem obtaining the necessary info from my router.

Is your PS3 close enough to your router to run a network cable straight to it to test it out. If it gets a connection with the wire then something is wrong with the wireless portion of the PS3 or your router.

it has 97% signal. I can set these things automatically but then, have problem the IP adress... It set another IP, not the IP which is in my PC

ok thanks for the help. Another question: I download themes for ps3 but when I try to install them it tells that dont exist any of themes in my memory stick...

You'll need to tell the PS3 where to install the theme from. I'm sure the default is to install it from the local hard drive and not a memory stick. Not sure where those settings are as I don't care too much about how the interface looks, I just want to play games.

yes, when I insert the memory stick, I go themes>install>from the memory stick, but it doesnt show anything..

Then the file formats aren't correct.

but others downloaded the same theme, from the same site and it works... never mind, I like to play games more...
