Assign IP by MAC

Not all routers have this option. I think I saw this on a D-Link I had and loved it.

I would get the MAC address of every device I had on my network, plug them in to the router along with the IP I wanted to assign the device.

Done!

If the MAC wasn't listed, it didn't get an IP...wired....or wireless.
