Not all routers have MAC Filtering. I think it's a great feature.
If your router does have MAC Filtering, simply enter the MAC address of your wireless device in the list and save your settings. You'll also probably have to configure it to "Allow only listed" or "Do not allow listed". In your case, you'll want to "Allow only listed". So unless a war driver has your MAC, they'll have a tough time getting in. Brian |

I'm not sure if my Mac Filter really work. I tried to block my brother computer. But it didn't work. I think it only work on Wireless Connection.
So my brother is using the Internet Cord to connect to. I believe it only work with wifi. |

Yes...MAC filtering only works with wireless and not wired. That's why this post is under the Wireless Lockdown section.
