Well, we don't need to discuss the music (loads of different fora for that).

After I wrote to you last night, I thought. Ummm I wonder if H knows that I haven't figured out how to test this from home. I went to the library. You've used the school. Others might use a coffee shop, or call/visit a buddy.

Once you've got the port scanner to reveal the port and you know the server is running (which you can test on localhost) you're in good shape and the server should be available on the WAN.

I'm glad this has a happy ending.

Default multiple ports

Both Icecast and Shoutcast use 2 ports.

If you are streaming on port 8000 then you need to open the next port up also.

If you are setting up multiple streaming channels you must step them

Stream one: port 8000
Stream two: port 8002
...
