Question Some sites won't load

Hi,

I am having trouble viewing different sites. Sometimes, they load and sometimes i get errors like page not found.

My connection is working fine, and wants to know if anyone else have the same issue?

I am not able to ping sites like google sometimes.?

is it your whole connection dropping or just specific sites?

when you have issues and are pinging sites, try a few at the same time using the "-t" switch (i.e. "ping -t google.com")

if you are receiving replies from, say, google.com... but not from yahoo.com... that could be challenging to troubleshoot

if you arent getting replies from anything at all, i'd contact the ISP...

Its just specific sites but they do load after some time.
Lets say i am not able to access Google , but I can after 5 min for some reason.

Do you think it could be Dns problems with some sites?

Thanks for your reply

can you give some more info about your connection?

DSL / Cable?
Modem model? Router model?
Wireless?
Are you sharing your broadband connection with another computer in the house?

If you are using wireless, are you absolutely sure you are connecting to YOUR access point?

Try to ping your gateway ip with -t and google.com -t and when you see packet loss to google.com , check if packets to your ISP's gateway IP is also dropping.
