ip address lookup

Hello,
followed the adice on site about checking for IP address. Mine is with Tiscali and lookup shows it's Tiscalis ip address that I am using when I do a look up for my ip address. It showin gthe same address from 2 pc's on teh same home network.

I have a router -Thompson that is giving both pc's an ip address from within the router range.

Am I right in thinking then that anyone trying to see or track my ip address will just get the general address for tiscali ISP 79.71.x.x

Yes. You are correct. Any surfing done from any of the computers behind your router will be recorded as your main IP address....79.71.x.x
