At a DOS prompt (Start, Run, cmd, enter) type nslookup domain.com and it will return an IP address.
You can then enter the IP address in our IP Lookup and IP WHOIS area to find out more about where the server is and who owns the IP address. |

is Microsoft-IIS/6.0 a server- please-a website has published something about me that is wrong and defamatory and won't respond to email
i have been told that i can question the server about this.. not sure how to find it..i am not sure if the instructions you gave me apply would appreciate some help - i am beside myself about this as my work found it nauve = me-so sorry ![]() |

To find out what kind of server is hosting the site, go to our Server Headers Check and input the URL. The results will tell you if it's IIS, Apache, etc.
