Can anyone tell me when I trace an IP address its showing its from Holland when the person sending the message is from Russia??? How can this be??
I have found 2 different IP addresses from them on different emails, one shows Russia n the other one shows Holland....does this mean they have sent the emails from different location?? Many thanks David |

They could use a VPN or Proxy from a different country when sending mail therefore looking like the mail came from one location when in fact it came from some place entirely different. If you send mail via Gmail, the IP will trace back to Google in California even though you could be halfway around the world. |
