wimiadmin you're right - I just looked at the last two octets (0.0) and assumed a class "B". I need to go back and refresh my binary - I don't use it much in the real world. When subnetting I typically subtract the mask from 256 for the range. ie. 255.255.255.192 --- 256-192=64 so your ranges are 0-63, 64-127, 128-191...etc. It's much easier then binary and faster then a subnet calculator


For the noobs -- the first number in the range is the "network" number and the last is the "broadcast"
