Default How many users have my first 5 digits?

I have a dynamically assigned IP address but the first two sets of numbers are always the same like 75.229.

I set up a filter to not log clicks from any IP starting with these numbers so I can check my actual web site traffic.

But how many other users will I be excluding this way? Is it like half of Northern California, all AT&T customers, or just a few that I can safely ignore?

So what analytics software are you using to track your traffic?

If you use Google Analytics, which is free, you simply add a snippet of code to the bottom of each page you want tracked. Then to see your stats, you go to the Google Analytics site and not your site.

This would probably be a better method so no one is excluded from being tracked. Then you can simply drill down into the stats in GA and see where each visitor came from. If it's from the town you're in, you most likely wouldn't count that person as a visitor.
