hello i have a problem
my friend and i need to all connect to a site from the same room however we cant have the same ip address. would our IP addresses be different if one of us uses the local area connection for the house and the other two were using their own dongles? ![]() many thanks |

If their dongles connect them to AT&T, VZW, or another cellular service, then yes that would work. You would all 3 have different IPs. However, if their dongles only connect them to your wireless network then you would each have your own individual internal IPs but would all have the same external IP.

thank you. im assuming at&t and vzw are network providers of some sort?

Yes...AT&T and VZW (VerizonWireless) are both cell phone companies that provide wireless internet service.
