Need a little more info.
If your IP is 123.123.123.1 and then you change it, does it change to something like 123.123.123.2 so only the last number changes or is it a different IP altogether. Have you tried going through a proxy before connecting to the game? |

Hi, my question is along the same lines as his. I want to get back on a forum. I was able to do this by using TOR/Privoxy. It changed my IP totally. I went along for about 200 posts and then suddenly I was banned again.
So that leads me to believe that something tipped them off but Im not sure what? It was not something they could readily see right away. Do you know? Thanks. ![]() |

200 posts?
What kind of posts were they? If they were "thanks", "i agree", "nice", etc. type of posts, then that might be the reason. But, if they're legit, then not sure what the tip off would be. Were you using a different username and did you always connect to the forum using tor/privoxy? They may have incorporated a rule that visitors from tor or privoxy IPs get banned. |

Well perhaps they recognized my writing style. I guess thats always a possibility. Or maybe they didnt know it was me for certain but since they can ban whoever they want whenever, they just did it.
Im not a troll but I just angered a mod. Its a long story but I have been on this forum for a long time so it was very saddening. Yeah I always connected with TOR/Privoxy so I have no idea except Im assuming they see that you are in fact using TOR/Privoxy if they take the time to look and then they will just ban it but I dont know. I dont know what their policy is with that. Is there anything else I can do to further conceal my IP? Do they use scripts to force an IP? Im back on again now but Im concerned they will just figure it out again. Im trying to ascertain what they see on their side. ![]() |

It might not be anything to do with your IP address. It could be a cookie sent by the WoW server to your computer - the same one that always remembered you when you went to the site to log in.
Try deleting cookies in your cookie folder or internet folder options. You could even try using a different web browser as the cookie will likely be in the browser you usually use. All of those methods have worked for me. Another idea to see what's blocking you is to use a different computer at a different location. I hope that helps. |

try to use some " hide ip " sofwares or if you use dynamic ip address from ISP, try to call them to change it. good luck .
