Hi, as a techie I often come to your site, just to copy my current IP to paste into a terminal, firewall admin page etc The best thing about your website, used to be that it was so easy to copy and paste the ip. But this has been changed now, so trying to select and copy the ip is really fiddly, I think due to the css/HTML being used. At least, it is on firefox. I wonder if you could consider rectifying this, as its a bit frustrating Or perhaps add a textbox control somewhere with the ip in, so copying it is easy againThanks Carpii |

Wimiadmin is such a helpful guy, I'm sure he'll help you out.
I use little scripts from the terminal to do exactly what you're describing - so I don't need to use the browser at all to get my ip address. Code:
curl http://whatismyip.com/automation/n09230945.asp | pbcopy I use curl and pbcopy on the Mac. wget is more common Linux alternative to curl. |
